1. Safety and fire fighting measures
The main cause of fire in the painting workshop is electrostatic ignition, and organic solvent-based coatings are also flammable. Once the paint booth attached to the paint is on fire, it is difficult to extinguish the fire.
In order to improve the working efficiency of the electrostatic coating machine, it is necessary to make the nozzle (cup) close to the object to be coated as possible, but spark power is generated when the object is coated, so it is important to prevent the object from being swayed in the painting room, and to prevent it from being prevented. The contact between the objects being coated and the objects to be coated are dropped. The design of the device (rotating cup and rack) that rotates the object in the painting booth is also important. Also, the paint attached to the hanger and the rotating device should be automatically removed or periodically cleaned. In the case of spraying organic solvent coatings, the spraying operation area is a Class A fire protection area, and the spray booth design should comply with national and local fire safety regulations. The electrical appliances, motors and exhaust fans in the spray booth should be explosion-proof. Manual spraying and automatic electrostatic spraying should be arranged in the same painting room, and carbon dioxide automatic fire extinguishing equipment should also be installed. In the event of an accident, in order to prompt the operator to evade as quickly as possible, there should be an alarm device throughout the system. In the case of general manual spraying, the spraying operation area is equipped with a device for automatic water spraying (when a certain temperature is reached, the fusible alloy is melted and fired automatically) and a general fire extinguisher.
In the case of using carbon dioxide fire extinguishing, after the spray, if there is air, the combustibles in the high temperature state may re-ignite, and the sprinkler pipeline is installed for safety. Carbon dioxide has no effect on machinery, and in the case of water, attention must be paid to the influence of electrical systems.
From the point of view of the paint mist that can be captured by spraying, the diffusion of paint mist and solvent vapor, the spray booth is an environmentally friendly device, but it does not eliminate the most common pollution in the spray industry - organic volatiles (VOC). Due to the large amount of exhaust in the spray booth and the low solvent content, there is still no good treatment method (especially on large spray lines), and only high-altitude emissions are used to meet environmental emission standards. In addition, the oil is a combustible material, which not only increases the risk of fire and oil mist polluting the environment at the spraying site, but may also cause shrinkage of the coating film. The VOC pollution problem of spraying can be cured by adopting environmentally friendly coatings (high solids coatings, waterborne coatings) and improving the coating efficiency of spraying.
2, noise reduction measures
The noise in the spray booth is often added to the inside and outside of the factory. Therefore, before setting up the equipment, the noise standard inside and outside the factory should be confirmed. The form of the spray booth is necessary (see the table below). The noise of the spray booth should not exceed 85dB.
The noise generated by the fan is directional, and the orientation of the air duct is changed, which can be roughly solved. However, in the case of a house or the like around the workshop, a muffler, a muffler box, and the like are required. The noise reduction device on the production line can only reduce the noise by 5db.
